Available sizes are 6", 8", 10", 12", 14" and 16" and are measured in inches down the top line of your dog. To measure your dog for the right fit, all you have to do is measure the top line of your dog, starting at the neck/collar down to the tail head.  This number then corresponds to the sizes available.   If your size is an odd # then you might want to consider what type of tail your dog has.  If your dog has a tail that points up, you might want to go down a size but if your tail lays down then it is okay to be a little longer.  The girth and neck is adjustable with the Velcro attached, so you can get the perfect fit on your dog.  If the straps are too long you can cut them to fit.   Additional sizes may be available upon request and could warrant an additional charge if larger than 16". 

Hick Dog Coats are originally fitted after the Dachshund breed, however they will basically fit any short to medium legged, short to long bodied breeds.  Yorkies, Shih Tzu, Chihuahuas, Jack Russels , Corgis and the like are just some examples of popular breed that have worn a Hick Dog Coat.   We have also sold one to the owner of miniature pot bellied pig!

Since there are no standards in sizes for dog collars, we list all of our collars by the actual neck size that they will fit for more accuracy.  Simply measure your dogs neck at the appropriate position on the neck with a flexible measuring tape and find the size that matches this number and you will have the right fitting collar.  Each collar is sized with a range of the smallest possible size to the largest possible size for that collar.

• If you do not have a flexible tape, a ruler or a yard stick will do. You can use your dog's existing collar to find out their neck size. Please measure your dogs existing collar from the buckle to the hole that your dog uses. This will be their actual neck size.
• Remember when you measure your dogs neck, even though your new Hick Dog dog collar is adjustable, it is important to measure your dog carefully for their comfort and your peace of mind. You will not want the collar so loose that is slips over the dog's head or so tight that he can't breathe properly.   

All items will ship within 24-72 hours of payment confirmation.  We have a few items in stock, however some items may be produced as orders are received.   All products are made in house, so production times will vary depending on availability of raw materials on hand.   Actual shipping time will vary from 2-4 days depending on your ship to address. 

Basically you should receive your order in 3 -7 business days.  Custom made orders are an exception to delivery times based on production time.  

Unless specified by the purchaser, we will ship USPS Priority Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation. 

We strive to make products that will fit your dog and one that is unique in design.  If for some reason it does not meet your standard or simply is the wrong size, we will be happy to return your purchase for one that will work for you and your dog.   Returns are allowed within 14 days from receipt of purchase.  Returns must show no signs of wear and be in the original condition.

You as the purchaser are responsible for return shipping and we recommend insuring your shipment as Hick Dog is not responsible for lost or damaged items during the shipping process.
